The general requirements for becoming a Volunteer for the Blog and my project stemming from the Blog, are the following:
- Be willing to volunteer your time
- Be passionate about helping people, prefer those who have a passion for our military and their dependents.
2. Auto-biography Authors: Currently collecting YOUR stories. Please send in your autobiographical accounts of your time and/or connection with the military. My preference, at this time, are stories relating to how an American War has touched your life; whether you fought in the war, stayed behind in a stateside location and served, supported the troops as a family member, welcomed home troops as a member of an organization, were a member of an activist group against a war, etc. If you have a story to tell, please tell it! History is waiting to be written. Once your submission has been received, I will forward you a release form which we will have to have back in order to move forward with your story. 3. CPA: One who is well versed in dealing with Non-Profit Organizations, prefer someone who has ties to the Military community and would be willing to give at least initial advice gratis. I would prefer someone in the DFW area but require that the CPA be in Texas. Please submit your resume to my email at angelaengele@gmail.com .
4. Researchers: Those who are willing to help research further information about articles and artifacts that come in so that I can put up adequate and accurate information on those items. Requires researching and investigating skills, will take a significant amount of time when items/articles come in. Some pieces will be easy to research, others will take more time. This would be a perfect position for a retired librarian or investigator of some sort. Please submit your resume/credentials to my email at angelaengele@gmail.com .
5. Photographers: I am in need of a couple of photographers that can handle a variety of tasks. Still shots and short video, with and without sound. I will post more about the specifics needed as I get the information. Please let me know, by resume submission, what your background is. Submit resumes to angelaengele@gmail.com .
